Uphill Climb to make money online
Don't misunderstand. I am neither discouraged nor dejected. As the saying goes, in terms of making money online: "it is what it is", unless and until I change the landscape.
For four decades I have been employed by some one else. I wrote scripts, copy, headlines, produced documentaries, participated in live panel discussions, covered political conventions, and performed in the role of correspondent and news anchor. It is always easier to take orders and to know that you're maintaining a steady income. But the problem is that you're working for another, and doing nothing to advance your personal reconnaissance toward establishing one's own career of self employment or business development.
To be brutally frank, I still am searching for the right recipe to endear myself to online money-making success. I am finding, however, that making money online is never as easy or as juicy as the advertisements portray this advent. Working for one's own edification is a daunting task, as distractions tend to get in the way. As for what progress I have managed, this is what I can point towards.
First, I have a fully published website entitled, "harpercast.com. It is complete with files, settings and configurations. I have yet to upload my audio mp3 recordings, music or documents. But the sight is up and running. This site will be used for a webcast, for advertising, and for producing audio commercials or promotional spots for radio and television and for writing articles. First, I must nurture the growth of my viewers. Second, I have a website upcoming of a different sort. It will be a site paid for and designed to specifications. In fact, once payment is made, the website will be published and used in a manner akin to selling products on ebay.
i have managed to set up a process for selling my wares. In either case, however, I am still searching for the most appropriate means of applying my talents and skills toward making money. In some cases, I have been grabbing at straws. Sometimes that's what one must do in order to get started. The information or help that is offered, is sometimes difficult to untangle, and a challenge to put in motion.
I am encouraged and confident that constant, persistent work at this will yield the results I seek. In the meantime, it is incumbent upon me to deploy a nonstop approach to all of my efforts. I must survive long enough for my strategy to take hold. I am confident that others can and will help.
