Why is that some sites draw in huge amounts of sales and shower the owner with cash and wealth while other sites struggle to get visitors and barely make a penny?

Some blogs or articles will sizzle while others will sink without a trace. There are ads that create a buying frenzy and other ads that won't get a look in. There are a few reasons why this happens but one of the big causes may be the headlines you are using for your marketing efforts.

The Internet is the most powerful selling medium but you have just a few seconds in which to make your point or your visitor will click elsewhere. You don't want that!

Headlines that don't draw the customer in or capture their curiosity are not performing and are costing you sales. Sales is money. Money is the difference between success and failure.

You can write powerful attention demanding headlines for your articles, blogs and advertising efforts thereby increase the amounts of traffic to your sales sites and landing pages today.

1. Be A Sheep. Research and look at the kind of headlines other top marketers are using to attract traffic and sales. Use this as an inspiration to write your own compelling wording.

2. Be Concise. Make your main headline short and sweet. Get to the point using 5 to 7 words. You just want to get their attention. You can sell once you have their attention and they are attracted to reading further or use a sub-headline.

3. Be Clear. Say what you mean. Don't be vague. Let the reader know exactly what you are talking about from the start.

4. Ask A Question. Asking a question in the headline draws attention. Make sure it's a question that you are going to answer or provide the solution to either in your main piece or with your product or service.

5. Ways, Steps, Reasons. If the solution that you're offering has a number of steps or variations, then mention that in your headline: 5 Ways To Get A Date or 7 Steps To Self-Confidence or Five Reasons To Succeed. Get my drift?

6. Reveal The Price. If you have a price that you think is competitive against the competition and appeals to the buyer, then that is worth mentioning. Something like: Hair Loss Solution For Under $99! or The Best Way To Lose Weight For Less Than $29!

7. Time. If your product produces results within a certain time-frame you should mention this too. How about: Get Great Abs In 30 Days! or 7 Days To Brighter Teeth!
